Original Encaustic Beeswax Painting. Rolling hills textured landscape.

A Beeswax painting with beautiful colours, showing a lake with rolling hills beyond. This original Encaustic Wax artwork is painted entirely with coloured beeswax using a special iron and a heated stylus onto a sealed card background. This makes a beautifully textured painting that is very tactile. Because of the way these paintings are made they are all individual and no two will ever be the same. I love working with beeswax and although you have an idea of the picture you want to create, I am always intrigued to see how it will develop and how the finished piece will look! The painting is mounted in a board frame and backing and is ready for you to display like this or put into a larger frame. The outside measurement of the Mount is 25cm (10”) x 20cm (8”) and comes in a clear plaster envelope so would be suitable to give as a gift. Postage is included and I will send it via Royal Mail, using their 24 hour tracked service. As this is painted with Beeswax, please keep out of direct sunlight!!
